Aga Wojtowicz, MA, CCC-SLP
Hi! My name is Aga. I am a bilingual Polish-English Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Honey Bee Therapy Services. I see clients in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, and I look forward to working with you, your child, or your loved one. I strongly believe that everyone deserves better communication! So please reach out if you’d like me to help you achieve your communication goals.
A little about my schooling and certifications: I graduated with my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Spanish from the University of Illinois Chicago. I am a certified SLP in the state of Illinois and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I am a Qualified Brain Injury Support Provider-Mentor and hold my Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois.
Some info about my past experience: I have experience working as a speech therapist with individuals across the lifespan and across various settings including public schools, therapeutic day and residential schools, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and private clinics. I have worked with individuals on the autism spectrum, with brain injuries, dementia, aphasia, expressive and receptive language delays, speech sound disorders, and a variety of other conditions.
A few additional details: In my free time, I enjoy reading historical fiction, listening to podcasts, gardening, and volunteering. I volunteer as a therapy dog handler, I’m on the Human Rights Committee of a nonprofit organization serving adults with developmental disabilities, and I am the Co-Chapter Leader of a local National Stuttering Association chapter.
Why choose Honey Bee Therapy Services?
Aga Wojtowicz, speech therapist at Honey Bee Therapy Services, believes in treating the individual as a whole, utilizing a strengths-based approach, and taking the time to develop a personalized therapy plan. Honey Bee Therapy Services was born from the belief in patient- and family-centered care, which often includes intervention in the family’s primary language. Providing services to Polish-speaking individuals allows me to accomplish that goal and contribute to my community in a meaningful way. Want to learn more?
